Accessibility
Teton Skincare should work for everyone. Every person should be able to read about our balms, choose one, and order it on their own.
Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines are the common measure of whether a website works for people with disabilities, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, or screen magnification.
What we have done
On November 6, 2026, we reviewed every type of page on this site with automated testing tools and by hand. Then we made these changes:
- Darkened text, link and button colors that did not have enough contrast.
- Made the keyboard focus outline easier to see.
- Kept text fully visible while page sections move into view.
- Wrote text descriptions for every product photo.
- Added written transcripts to customer videos.
- Returned keyboard focus to the right place when the cart closes.
We check the site again after major changes.
Known limitations
Some parts of this site come from outside providers. These include our reviews, bundle and subscription options, cart, and email sign-up form. We are working with each provider to fix the issues we found in their tools.
Checkout is provided by Shopify and is outside our direct control.
One customer video does not yet have a written transcript. Its spoken words appear as captions in the video.
